RSVP - Are you smarter than a 5th grader?

2009

Wow! What a wonderful and exciting "fun"draiser. Our thanks to everyone for supporting us in our first annual "Who Will Be Smarter Than a 5th Grader?". Thanks to all of the celebrity contestants who were very instrumental in helping to raise just over $20,000 for RSVP and the students who were just superb, they definitely were a match for the celebrity contestants. Thanks to Nancy Sikorsky and the La Crosse School District for putting together the questions, which really tested the knowledge of the students and adults.

Thanks to Jac Lyga from the Onalaska School District for partnering with us. Thanks also to the judges; Jenny Ruetten, Ruth DeJarlais, and Heather Brice for sharing their time and to Brad Williams of WIZM for his excellent "hosting." Congratulations to our Grand Prize Winners; Terry Collins and Maddie Von Muchow. Terry received a $500 travel voucher from Travel Leaders and Maddie received a $75 gift certificate to Target donated by UCare, a Pizza Doctor pizza party, and a La Crosse Logger's Party Package, as well as a $500 check for Coulee Montessori and a traveling trophy. We look forward to next year's event to be even bigger and better!

You can join in the fun this year on May 22, 2010! Only -108 days left!
