Special Event Volunteering

Coulee Region RSVP regularly receives calls from local nonprofit, educational, and health care facilities that are holding special events and/or projects requiring volunteer assistance. Volunteers help with event registrations, bulk mailings, craft assembly, and many other projects and events. For volunteers who do not want the requirement of a set weekly schedule at one particular location but would like to help with occasional events, this opportunity can be a perfect fit. Events that Coulee Region RSVP volunteers help with include; festivals, fundraisers, medication drop offs, family days, outdoor activities, children’s events, Rotary Lights, La Crosse Symphony Orchestra Concerts, blood drives, cancer run/walks, food drives, and much more! In addition to these one-time events, Coulee Region RSVP hosts our own Special Days of Service in collaboration with September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance and Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. Stay tuned for these high-impact one-time events to see how you can get involved and make a big difference for your local community! Contact the RSVP office for additional information.
